Mr Ash is an Engineering graduate who gained his PGCE in Physics with Mathematics and an MBA from the prestigious Institute of Education (UCL). His pedagogical journey has benefitted from its diversity and constant success. Mr Ash has taught in inner-city comprehensive, high-performing grammar, and prestigious private schools, as well as in a university setting as an Honorary Lecturer. He has won multiple awards throughout his career for his success in education, and he has led on many organisation-wide developmental projects.
Mr Ash worked in the leadership team for one of the UK’s highest performing state schools, securing the highest value-added results in the school’s history. Following this, he took a role as Head of Department for one of London’s most prestigious independent schools, and one of HMC’s largest schools. His role involved managing 18 staff members and developing them as instructors and support staff to improve pupil outcomes.
Mr Ash has a track record of excellent outcomes in teaching both Mathematics and Physics. He has taken over 400 students through their GCSE and A-Level exams. Practice has honed his craft to near-perfection in terms of efficiency and outcome.
Mr Ash has conducted 11+/Oxbridge interviews and has written examination material for 11+ entry. This positions him uniquely to help guide students to success in their exams. He knows what it takes to win.
Mr Ash has worked with students with a range of learning needs, disabilities, or mental health disorders. He has helped pupils with ADHD, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, dyslexia, anxiety, depression, and English as a second language. Through kindness and patience, Mr Ash has helped these students enjoy their learning and achieve excellent grades.
